Emily Steen, a California native, attended Alfred University in New York. There she received a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Coaching and was a three sport athlete. Emily did post graduate work in Counseling and Art Therapy at Notre Dame de Numar University in the Bay Area. She was introduced to Neurofeedback and qEEG (brain Mapping) while working for Dr. Bradley Engvall’s psychiatry practice in Berkeley, California. She relocated to Southern California to be closer to her family and began working as a NeuroFeedback intern under the supervision of Dr. Victoria Ibric. Emily is Board Certified Neurotherapist accredited by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance. She is currently working towards getting her QEEG-T.
Emily is drawn to the ocean and loves to swim and surf. She enjoys making art, yoga-mediation, biking, and hikes with her dog.
